Tarlant Zero Brut Nature
Six years on lees, zero dosage, biodynamic farming: Tarlant's Zero is the thinking drinker's grower Champagne.
Zero dosage. Zero compromise. Tarlant has been making wine from their own grapes in the Vallee de la Marne since the 1920s, long before grower Champagne was a concept anyone aspired to.
Zero is their calling card. Equal parts Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier with a small splash of rare indigenous varieties – Petit Meslier, Arbane, Pinot Blanc – from 62 organically farmed parcels across four villages, each vinified separately. No selected yeasts. No dosage. No sugar masking the land’s character. Fresh sourdough, sliced apple, raspberry and walnut on the nose. Precise, dry and taut on the palate with tight bubbles and a chalky, mineral finish. Apéritif perfection, or a grower’s statement of pure intent.
Pairs with
“94 points. This is a delightfully complex and characterful Zero that exudes succulent texture of wonderfully ripe fruit complexity, held in poised tension thanks to beautifully integrated malic acidity, defining sensational line and length.”
