The original Baker & Hamilton was one of early California’s most celebrated hardware merchants. This is what happens when their legacy gets reborn as a Napa Cabernet sourced from Vine Hill Ranch in Oakville.
Crushed black cherries, boysenberry, blueberry, anise, sandalwood on the nose. Full bodied with plush tannins, black and blue fruit on the palate and a long, spicy finish. Winemaker Francoise Peschon is one of Napa’s most respected voices, and her touch is all over this bottle. Serious Oakville Cabernet at a genuinely surprising price. 93 pts The Wine Independent.
