The greatest white wine estate in Burgundy has farmed these Macon-Verze vines biodynamically since the day they acquired them in 2004. The 2023 is what they describe as great purity, both floral and mineral, with a lot of energy and liveliness. They are right. Peach, apple tart, lemon cake on the nose. Creamy and harmonious on the palate with vibrant acidity and a subtle baking spice finish. The Leflaive philosophy applied to Macon fruit. One of the best value bottles in this entire collection. 91 pts Wine Spectator.
