The 2024 Eisele Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc comes from the eastern side of the historic Eisele Vineyard in Napa Valley, where surrounding hills shelter the Sauvignon Blanc parcels from the afternoon sun and help preserve freshness through Napa's long growing season.
The wine combines 76% Sauvignon Blanc Musqué with 24% Sauvignon Blanc, bringing together the Musqué clone's aromatic intensity with the structure and mineral character of traditional Sauvignon Blanc. Fermentation and élevage take place across large French-oak puncheons, stainless-steel eggs, concrete eggs and a small glass Wineglobe component, followed by extended lees contact. The 2024 is remarkably expressive, moving from jasmine, rose petal and ginger toward blood orange, yuzu, passion fruit, quince and nectarine, all carried by vibrant acidity and a persistent saline, mineral finish.
