Julien Brocard, son of Jean-Marc, came back to the family estate with an engineering degree and a biodynamic vision. Most of the estate has been farmed organically for years. Fourchaume is one of Chablis’ most prized Premier Cru sites, south-facing and generously mineral.
The 2023 is fresh, incisive and lively, with white peach, lemon, lime and a fresh herb quality on the nose. The palate is clean and focused with exactly the kind of saline minerality you come to Chablis for. Oyster-shell freshness. A perfect bottle for everything you are eating this summer. Great value for a genuine 1er Cru address.
