Charlemagne himself owned this land before the monks did. Bonneau du Martray now belongs to Stan Kroenke of Screaming Eagle, who has maintained the estate’s biodynamic farming and its absolute commitment to terroir transparency. The 2023 offers great purity, with floral and mineral energy and the kind of liveliness that demands cellaring. Begin drinking 2028. Cellar confidently through 2040 and beyond.
