The Story

I open this when I want to remind myself why I do this.

Old vine Garnacha on ancient granite, biodynamic, high altitude in the Sierra de Gredos. It smells like red strawberry and white stones and something slightly witchy that I cannot explain. Then juicy and alive on the palate with a mineral grip that just stays with you. Nobody farms these forgotten vines but Fernando and Dani. That matters to me as much as the score does. 94 pts Wine Advocate.
