We taste thousands, source with restraint, and release a bottle only when it has earned its place. The goal was never a bigger catalog. It was a shorter, surer one.
Before a wine reaches you, it has to clear the things that actually matter: how it was farmed, who made it and how they work, where it has been and how it was kept, and whether it is, plainly, worth drinking. Most of what we taste does not make the cut. That is the whole idea.
